The Hebrew Bible is a word that can be used interchangeably with Christians and Jews. The Hebrew Bible is a term that means the same thing as the Christian Old Testament. It is also the same as the Jewish Tanach. The word Hebrew Bible is used to avoid any type of negative connotations that come with other more secular terms. The stories in the Hebrew Bible are the same as the stories and books in the Old Testament and the Tanach. The stories however appear in slightly different order in the Old Testament then the Tanach.
